Get Messy | Season of Music | Week 6

Hello everyone and welcome to the last week of the Season of Music. This season has been way more fun than I thought it would be. I like listening to music, but don’t have a passion for it I guess you could say. I was kind of nervous about how I would be able to respond to prompts, but I really just made it my own. I started out with six mini journals which was a huge goal and I didn’t quite finish them all – I still have a few pages to finish in my P!NK journal, but other than that the goal was achieved, and I am really please with how they all turned out.

I am going to share with you my final tiny art journal this week. I was inspired by the synaesthesia prompts from last week for this one. I don’t exactly have a synasthaesia connection with music, so instead painted how I see my feelings. An abstract take on the prompt I guess, but I found the process quite interesting.

I didn’t think I needed a description for each page given they had a label on them. So what do you think? Do you have synaesthesia in some way – be it with music, feelings, numbers, letters, days of the week?

I’m hoping to share a wrap up of the Season of Music in the next couple of weeks. And maybe share a flip-through video of the mini journals I made, so keep an eye out for that.

Synaesthesia is something I’ve never really thought about before but I think it’s an amazing concept & love your interpretation! When I’m back at home with my paints I’m certainly going to give it a try!
