Get Messy | Messy Lists | Week 3

Hello there and welcome to the third week of the much anticipated Messy Lists – a collaborative season partnering with the ladies from 30 Days of Lists, Amy + Kam. This season will feature 60 (!!!) prompts, 30 lists and 30 art prompts, and there will be MORE than enough content to keep you busy, busy, busy making, making, making! Join the Get Messy Art Journal program to find out more.

To be honest I struggled to get my pages finished this week. I have not been feeling great for a while and was diagnosed with advanced adrenal fatigue which has been made worse by a recent surgery. I am working really hard to heal my body and resting as much as I can, but some days are harder than others. I create as much as possible because it makes me happy, but I definitely glad I have chosen a small journal to make these lists in. It has taken the pressure off quite a bit. But now to share my lists.

List prompt one, no art prompt

List prompt two, art prompt 1 (write your words into shapes)

List prompt three, art prompt using the gelato smoosh technique from Zinia’s tutorial last week.

List prompt 4, art prompt 5 (well the heading was written in paint at least)

List prompt 5, art prompt 4 (synonyms)

I really do want to be a cat – but only a domestic cat with a loving family and a lovely warm spot to sleep all day. Haha. See you all next week.

  1. These lists are great! I love this! I know what you are feeling with your illness. I have myself a leukemia and it’s really hard these days with the fatigue and pain. These season of lists is difficult for me too, because it’s difficult to stay at the same place even for “work” on my pages. And I try to do too much challenges but I need to create and I loveso much the Messy group!!

    1. I’m so sorry to hear you are so unwell Stephanie. I hope your treatment will help you. Get Messy is a pretty special group – I’m glad you found it.
