Get Messy | Messy Lists | Week 1

Hello there and welcome to the first week of the much anticipated Messy Lists – a collaborative season partnering with the ladies from 30 Days of Lists, Amy + Kam. This season will feature 60 (!!!) prompts, 30 lists and 30 art prompts, and there will be MORE than enough content to keep you busy, busy, busy making, making, making! Join the Get Messy Art Journal program to find out more.

For this season I’m using a Moleskine Sketchbook Pocket which is A6 size. Its small – but not too small – just big enough for listing.

I started with a simple water colour title page – because WATER COLOUR!

List prompt one and art prompt one

List prompt two (I didn’t follow an art prompt for this one)

List prompt three (and no art prompt)

List prompt four (no art prompt)

List prompt five and art prompt ten

I hope enjoyed the first week of Messy Lists.

  1. I love seeing your lists. Your list about sacrifices as a working mum makes me sad — you work to provide for your family. Neither is more or less vital than the other. That pink in the last photo…i love that colour. One of my favourites. Makes me think of fire engines in those old clubbing days 😉 xx

  2. Lovely pages Tlee, it’s definitely been more fun than I thought it would be this week. I’m also using an A6 journal, it’s such a great size for lists isn’t it!

  3. I shouldn’t really be surprised by how much size plays a part in how something looks. That size makes your pages look extra cute. Not sure cute is the right word…maybe cherishable is a better word… grammer fail I am sure!

    1. No grammar fail – I get what you mean. I’m enjoying working in the smaller format this season.
