Get Messy | Season of Words | Week 6

It’s the final week of the Season of Words – what an amazing season it has been. I have never felt so motivated to create art.

Early in the season I made a secret pocket and cut a page down and attached a tab. I had planned on including some private journaling on it but hadn’t gotten around to it. But this week I did. I wrote myself a motivational pep talk letter.

I love using quotes in my journal pages and was inspired by one by @stitchandletter on Instagram so used it on a page.
 I am an artist!

This next page started with a layered background that I wasn’t sure what to do with so I started drawing weblike circles and couldn’t stop. The quote just seemed right.
And my last piece for the week was inspired by @dansmoncrane and her amazing series last week as well as a print created by @foxandhazel. I have now officially fallen in love with black gesso! And there is of course another mention of my mantra for the year – believe. It’s a powerful word!

  1. I used one of your pages as my inspiration this week, ‘and so she decided to believe in herself….’ thank you!
This season has definitely been my favourite as well, all your pages are great, my favourite…..the tangled web.
