Get Messy | Season of Words | Week 4

I was so inspired by the prompts this week that I couldn’t wait to get started creating pages in my altered book art journal.

I had some fun ideas, but they just didn’t turn out how I expected. I was a bit disappointed and lost my motivation to keep going. Crazy right? Well I did keep going and here are the results.

The first page is my attempt at paper splicing. I am fascinated by the southern lights so I downloaded a photo from the web and printed it.
And combined it with a magazine page and filled the page with doodling.
Next is a story about my favourite childhood book – Bimbo and Topsy by Enid Blyton.
And last but not least, the first word that came to mind. Imagine. Surrounded by collage elements included some paper weaving.
That’s it for this week. I tell you what, this season is by far my favourite yet and it is going so fast. I can’t wait to see next weeks prompts.
