And just like that the Get Messy Season of Serenity is over. I have had so much fun creating layouts over the last six weeks. It’s been amazing. And I’ve gotten to know so many awesome ladies from the group too. People from all over the world that are just so funny, and caring, and inspiring.
This weeks task was to use goodies from the craft swap organised by Julia and Karen to make layouts. Oh, I’ve been pondering this one for the entire season and I am really happy with how things turned out. I made two layouts using mostly swap goodies but threw in a few bits of my own as well. Thank you Delaney for the awesome stuff.
I love that Delaney colour-coordinated all of the goodies. Made the layout sooooo easy. And everything really suited my usual style too.
I also finished a few other pages throughout the season that I haven’t shared yet – so here they are.
This page was made using papers from the German magazine Flow, so generously sent to me by Judith.
This mish-mash of a page was kind of from a prompt from a few weeks ago to redo a page. It started out as a page from the Season of Brave I think. A page using a technique or medium that I hadn’t used before. I had used soft pastels and I really didn’t like it so I covered it up with gesso, added some mists, but messed that up too so covered all of that up with tissue paper and doodled Lisa Congdon style. And of course stuffed the tulips up as well – but whatever. It’s cute anyway. Real, not perfect!
So that’s it from me. Stay tuned for our next Season.
