Get Messy | Letters, Jugs and Monkeys

There were no new posts this week for the Get Messy group so I went it alone. And I had fun – but then I always have fun when I’m creating things.
For my first page I randomly placed letter stickers all over the left hand side page and then painted right over the top of them. I think I used too dark of a colour but never mind.

On the right hand side I did some abstract mark making inspired by Ashley Goldberg and stuck a definition of my One Little Word for the year.

For my second layout I cut out lots of jug photos and stuck them all over the page and doodled around them. This was a fun page to make.

In the right hand side I cut a picture from a magazine and actually journaled . I don’t do this very often, so doing it without a prompt is a bit of a break through.

If art journalling is your thing you really should consider joining in with the Get Messy Art Journal program starting soon. It’s link up day today – so check it out.

Love this style of AJ Tanyalee, not sure I’d be any good at it! Both are beautiful and very creative layouts! Guess what, I joined Get Messy today!
