I have been feeling a little guilty about only sharing art journal projects on here lately but I am enjoying the paint and messiness so much that it’s all I’ve been creating and wanting to share.
So its Thursday again and I am here to share my Get Messy art journal pages. I must first apologise again for my photos – daylight hours are still short in the deep south of Australia and I am just never home in time to get some decent light. It will get better I promise.
My first two pages are from my larger album. I was inspired by all of the lovely stamp based pages I have seen lately. I have box full of stamps sitting in my Project Life supplies but am not confident in using them so thought I would play with them on a journal page. My stamping leaves a bit to be desired, but the uneven prints kind of add character I think.
I chose the days of the week and highlighted Thursday as Get Messy day. This was a fun layout.
The second layout was a really quick grid based layout made with scrap paper – again from my Project Life stash. A quick and simple journal page – with journalling as such.
And my last layout is from my favourite little gold album.
Another two quite simple pages but I really like them. Especially the gold paint and washi.
