Welcome to my Inspiration Sunday post. Today I am going to talk to you about my favourite way of getting and trying new art journaling supplies. I’m sure you’ve heard me mention this before, but I just love the ArtSnacks subscription box. I’ve been getting them for about a year now, and they have been well worth the expense for me.

Artsnacks Monthly Subscription

With shipping, I end up paying around $35-40 per month for my little box of goodness. Which might sound like a lot, but most of the time if you add up the individual prices for the items, it would end up costing more than that all added together.

A lot of people who buy the subscription boxes play along with the Artsnacks Challenge each month and create a piece of art using just the materials from the box. I haven’t been that adventurous yet, but I really do enjoy playing with everything to see how they might work for me.

From time to time, Artsnacks also have specialty boxes, like the Inktober Box, and recently a Watercolour Box. These are more expensive, but have a whole lot more stuff in them. I got the Watercolour Box and it had 5 or 6 full size Windsor & Newton limited edition tubes of paint which definitely made it worth the purchase price. Also, a new quarterly subscription box has just been launched called Lettering Snacks. I’m not a letterer, but if I was, I would most certainly be jumping on that bandwagon.

I thought I’d also share a YouTube video that Artsnacks release each month – its called the Box Breakdown and it is made by my art journal crush, Roxanne Coble (aka ByBun). I love her art, I love her character, and I love her pugs. Hahaha.

Anyway, I hope I have made you think about the Artsnacks subscription, I highly recommend it.
