Well I called it a few weeks ago, I definitely over-committed by trying to make six mini-journals this season. It would have been OK if I hadn’t been booked in for surgery next week and have a billion things to get sorted before I go into hospital for a few days. I’ve still produced a tonne of work, just not finished journals which I need to be OK with. And I will be – just not yet. On the bright side, I will have a few weeks at home recovering so will be able to finish those babies off then right!
This week I started working in my P!nk tribute journal. I love pink (the colour, and the artist!). I’ve been to two of her Australian concerts, and love all of her albums. So here is what I have started for the Journal of P!nk.
I have an unfinished first page. I’m not sure what else I will do with this yet, but it needs something else. Stay turned.
Next I have a page I made in response to last week’s prompt about a concert I have attended. This ephemera is from the last P!nk concert I went to in Sydney a few years ago. It was a girls weekend trip and it is jam-packed full of memories. I intend to journal about it on this spread to finish it off.
This song would have to be one of my all-time favourite P!nk songs. It is soooooo powerful.
A galaxy page with the lyrics to Beam Me Up – seemed appropriate!
And last but not least, another unfinished spread, I really didn’t get the word bit of my spreads done this week did I. But I still played with paint and got messy most days so I’m happy with that.
I hope you’ve had a great week of art, and I’ll see you here again next week for the LAST WEEK OF THE SEASON OF MUSIC! How did that happen you guys?????
