Get Messy | In-between Seasons

As soon as a Get Messy season ends I seem to have a new creative burst, its like my art brain has been trapped into one topic or working on prompts for six weeks and then suddenly it is free to do what it wants. That first week of no prompts is awesome for me. Does anyone else feel like this, or do you only work with the prompts?

This past week I have been pondering a few issues that get me down from time to time so I decided to try to get them out of my head and on to paper. Because of the nature of my thoughts I made the journaling deliberately hard (or impossible) to read. I know what it says and will always remember writing it all down so hopefully that puts an end to the thoughts.

I can’t wait to find out what the next Get Messy season is, the anticipation is killing me.
