Late last year the Get Messy girls Jules and Karen organised our second Craft Swap. It’s fun getting given your swap partner, researching their styles and favourite colours, choosing the goodies from your own personal stash and packaging them up. And then receiving your own package full of someone else’s goodies. My partner this time was Essie (aka Mama Finch) – she sent me the most amazing package, I was blown away when it arrived. It was huge, and full of all of my favourite colours and items – pink, gold, glitter, flowers, cardstock – so much awesome!!!
I actually decided to use my package as my first tutorial for my Get Messy Art Journal Creative Team duties. Now you need to be a member to view the tutorial (well, step-by-step process blog post really), but I really wanted to share the results on my blog as well. Feel free to hop over the Get Messy blog to see how I went about things though.
I decided to make an accordion album using an old book as the cover.
I seriously have that much stuff left over I could make another three albums and still not run out. Thanks again Essie, I couldn’t ask for a better swap partner!
